Your profile
- Work experience: Completed training in gastronomy and several years of experience in upscale service—ideally in a comparable position.
- Professional knowledge: Sound knowledge of gastronomy, especially wine and food.
- Service orientation: A keen sense for the wishes of our guests and a high level of service.
- Strong communication skills: Excellent communication skills in German and/or English, as well as the ability to keep a cool head even in challenging situations.
- Team spirit: Enjoy working in a team and have a motivating and supportive manner.
- Appearance: Well-groomed appearance and confident, friendly demeanor.
- Organizational talent: Excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail.
- Flexibility: Stress resistance and flexibility, especially during rush hour crowds or sudden changes in high alpine weather conditions.
- Way to work: Winter sports enthusiasts can commute to work on skis or a snowboard—including first and last runs on empty slopes.
Your tasks
- Support of the restaurant management: Responsibility for ensuring smooth service in your area and close cooperation with restaurant management, including during events or culinary highlights.
- Mise en Place: Preparation and organization of the work area to ensure fast and efficient service.
- Guest services: Ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction through attentive and professional service.
- Employee management: Support and guidance for service staff, including training new team members.
- Menu & wine recommendations: Competent advice for guests on menu and wine selection.
- Quality management: Ensuring high standards in the service area and continuous improvement of work processes.
- Environmentally conscious work: Promoting an environmentally friendly working environment through sustainable practices.
Our offer
We offer full-time employment with a 6-day week (48 hours) with 1 – 2 evening shifts per week, including attractive gross salary from €3,300 (payment above the collective agreement for the hotel and catering industry, with the possibility of additional adjustment depending on qualifications). You will also receive a share of the tips, vacation and Christmas bonuses (pro rata), free board and lodging and other goodies on top!
