Your profile
- Work experience: Sound experience as a sous chef or in a comparable position in upscale gastronomy.
- Creativity & quality standards: A passion for first-class cuisine, a high level of creativity and a tireless demand for quality.
- Leadership competence: Strong leadership qualities and the ability to act as a role model.
- Teamwork: Enjoy working in a team and be willing to continuously develop yourself and others.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality.
- Appearance: Well-groomed appearance and a positive charisma.
- Organizational talent: Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Your tasks
- Smooth kitchen operation: Supporting the head chef in the coordination and management of all kitchen processes and in leading the team.
- Menu design: Creative co-design of the menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner service, with a special focus on regional and seasonal ingredients.
- Quality assurance: Ensuring the consistently high quality and presentation of all dishes.
- Team leadership: Support in training and motivating the kitchen team to ensure excellent organization and high motivation.
- Hygiene and safety: Monitoring compliance with all hygiene and safety regulations.
- Guest relations: Representing the kitchen area and maintaining guest relations in the absence of the head chef.
- Environmentally conscious work: Promotion and implementation of environmentally friendly working practices.
Our offer
We offer full-time employment with a 6-day week (48 hours) including an attractive gross salary from € 4.200,- (payment above the collective agreement for the hotel and catering industry, with the possibility of additional adjustment depending on qualifications). You will also receive a share of the tips, vacation and Christmas bonuses (pro rata), free board and lodging and other goodies on top!
